ABOUT THE REIKI MASTER-TEACHERS: HOME for information on Gena Wilson. Kupua Claudette Knox has been a Reiki Master-Teacher for seven years and has taught Reiki classes with Gena Wilson, LSCW for five years. In addition, Claudette is a Kupua Shaman (trained by Serge Kahili King, author of “Urban Shaman” and “Kahuna Healing”; a Professional Intuitive (Aumakua Cards and Palmistry) and a former Lomi-Lomi Massage Practitioner. Gena and Claudette are continuously engaged in research pertaining to the latest developments in Japan with reference to Reiki and the founder Mikao Usui. Their classes contain all the latest information that has been provided from Usui’s students and his memorial stone. Gena and Claudette have been teaching Reiki for over nine years. REIKI LEVEL I – January 13th Tuition: $150.00 ($25 deposit required) Lunch provided. Reiki I known in Japan as ‘Shoden’ (Sho = 1st, den = teachings) by the founder Mikao Usui. ‘Shoden’ (Reiki I) is all about ‘cleansing’ (healing and affirmations) and ‘opening’ to receive of Reiju (attunement/initiation). The initiate is given Reiju and taught the following (manual provided): (1) Questions about Reiki answered by Mikao Usui himself; (2) What is Reiki?; (3) Factual History of Reiki; (4) Reiki Kanji; (5) What A Reiki Treatment Is and Does; (6) Reiki Levels Explained; (7) Reiju Explained; (3) Reiki Power Symbol and how to use it. (2) The Reiki Principles; (3) The Reiki Precepts; (4) Four Essentials For Healing; (5) Why No Healing Occurs; (6) Usui Hand Positions; (7) Reiki Ethics; (8) Care After A Healing Session; (9) What is a Healing Crisis?; (10) Reiki Quick Treatment; (11) Reiki Boost; and (12) Group Healing. Upon successful completion of Reiki I, the initiate is certified as a ‘Reiki I Practitioner’. REIKI LEVEL II – February 10th Tuition: $250.00 ($50 deposit required). Lunch provided. Reiki Level II was known as “Okuden” (Oku=2nd, den=teachings) by the founder Mikao Usui. Our Okuden (Reiki II) class manual contains the following information: (1) Definition and how to draw the Reiki Kanji. (2) Kotodama (Work Spirit that Usui used before incorporating the symbols). (3) Hatsurei-Ho (To Generate Spirit & Soul Energy which includes: Kenyoku (dry bathing or brushing off); Joshin Kokyu-Ho (soul cleansing breathing); Gassho Meditation (hands held in prayer position); Seishin Toitsu (continued meditation-concentration); Gokai Sansho (recite the Five Principles aloud three times); Mokunen (end the Hatsurei-Ho). (4) Definition and how to draw the Cho-ku-rei (power symbol), Sei-He-Ki (emotional symbol), and Hon-Sha-Ze-Sho-Nen (no time no space symbol). (5) Enkaku Chiro (distant healing treatment). (6) Byosen-Reikan-Ho (body scanning). (7) Koki Ho (healing with the breath). (8) Gyoshi Ho (healing with the eyes). (9) Uchi-te/Oshi-te/Nade-te (tapping, pulsing, stroking). (10) Reiju-Ho (powerful Reiki prayer). (11) Shu-Chu Reiki (group healing). Upon successful completion of Reiki II, the initiate is certified as a “Reiki II Practitioner.”
REIKI III MASTER TEACHER LEVEL - March 9th Tuition: $350.00 ($50 deposit required). Lunch provided. REIKI LEVEL III – The higher level ‘Shinpiden’ (known in the West as the Reiki Master- Teacher Level) takes you further on your spiritual path including learning the use of energy transmission – Reiju (the Unity of Mind and Ki). In Shinpiden the initiate is taught the Reiki Master Symbol and how and when to use it. The initiate is taught (and provided a manual) how to give Reiju (attunements) and teach Reiki classes for Reiki levels I, II, and III. Upon successful completion of Reiki III the initiate is certified as a ‘Reiki Master/Teacher’.
